What Would You Do With $1000

by Jennifer Gniadecki on June 27th, 2008

Edited to add: This was not the b5media Fun Friday question - it was a Fun Friday question asked by Donna over at Digital Money World. She was also kind enough to leave the link in the comments as well as linked to her name in the comments. So it’s easy to find her blog from this entry!

Today’s b5media Fun Friday question is: What would you do with $1000 dollars.

$1000 is a fun number. It’s not enough to pay off a car or a mortgage, it probably isn’t enough to pay off your credit cards, but it’s enough that you could make a real difference in an aspect of your life that might be ongoing.

I know if I had $1000 I’d use it to allow me to give away however many copies of my book would add up to one-thousand dollars to influencers and other networking leaders. It would give them free tips and tricks to give to members, but (on a completely selfish note) I would be able to leverage that book into a speaking engagement. That would make a big difference to my future and to the people I have access to.

It would also increase sales and open up more speaking engagements based on the sales of the book.

$1000 could buy me a pretty big snowball that would continue to grow just from starting with some heads of networking groups in the city.

Because I’m not as amazingly awesome as some other b5ers around here, I (of course) am assuming you stole your $1000 from your local liquor store. So let me know, how would you improve your business, your networking, and your life with $1000?
