What To Do About The Summer Slowdown

by Jennifer Gniadecki on July 6th, 2008

Here are ten quick suggestions to find people that you can network with if you find your usual haunts are becoming more like a Ghost Town now that summer is in session!

  1. Get out of your shell and get social!
  2. Summer camp
  3. Sports events
  4. Summer school
  5. Preschool
  6. Cheerleading clinic
  7. Grocery store
  8. Public pool
  9. Church
  10. Community events

Talking to strangers is a great way to get to know people. When you’re standing in line waiting or when you’re sitting next to someone at a community event….say, “Hello!” It can’t hurt, and it just might help – you never know who you’ll run into!
